I will explain why i thought of dubai, 1. Its 3 hours away from india, so i can fly down to meet my family and friends quiet often, probably every couple of months. Staying in the usa how much ever u say u can only go once a year. Flights are cheaper too. 2. Dubai is a growing tech hub and its very welcoming for people from outside. Plus the awful job market in the usa, and so much uncertainty for immigrants. 3. Obviously u save a massive amount on taxes. No taxes back there. 4. My final goal is to settle back in India, i think from dubai settling back to india is easier too. 5. I think lifestyles here and lifestyles there are gonna be similar, have visited dubai in the past. And compared it with living in the states quiet similar. 6. My question being an average salary of of MS CS in AI ML here is around 120 to 150k, that converted to dirhams is 450k to 500k. Will i be able to make that much or /- 20% ?
