Sanam, a 21-year-old woman in her first semester of a Master's program, experienced an unsettling encounter with her Hu college professor. While she was in his office with six other students to collect their mid-semester answer sheets, he distributed the papers and asked the others to leave. When it was her turn, she received a score of 24 out of 30, but instead of letting her go, he began lecturing her about the importance of maintaining a good percentage.
Dressed in a crop top that revealed a hint of her midriff, Sana noticed the professor glancing at her body multiple times. The conversation took an inappropriate turn when he asked her if she would be participating in the upcoming garba competition. After she confirmed she would, he suggested he might come to watch her dance, saying, "Looks like I'll have to come see you dance, no matter how expensive the passes are." This made her uncomfortable, and she tried to leave, but he insisted she demonstrate a few dance steps in his office, claiming he was like a father to her.
Feeling shocked and uneasy, Sana left. Now, she feels conflicted, unsure of how to proceed after the unsettling experience.
