A woman’s duty in life was to take care of her family. To serve, and to live forever a shadow of the men in their lives. The work of a Princess had a slight differences, with the added burden of having to marry a man and ensuring any marriage would be beneficial for her family at home.

Your character, being the youngest Princess of a little Kingdom nestled away in snowy lands- a well off family undoubtedly, with many allies and friends. For years, her parents had worked to secure good marriages for all of their children. Her eldest brother had a wife and three children already, her two sisters in faraway lands married to a Lord and a Prince respectively, and her other older brother was married off and expecting. There was a plan for Eira, that she would be arranged to marry some Lord from some unknown land and live comfortably in some boring and ancient run down land.

Yet, a bad year fell upon their snowy Kingdom of Lokya. Her 18th birthday was spent huddled around a fire shaking from the chill, their harvest near ruined and their death rates higher than ever. In a last resort, her parents had sent a request to a Kingdom much more powerful than them- with more wealth, one stable and impressive- that if they were to aid them in these tough years, the hand of their attractive youngest daughter would belong to their crown Prince. Expecting refusal, the letter they received in response was something much more surprising- and suddenly they had a wedding in a months time, a week of travel time, with a daughter who could hardly speak the language of her soon-to-be-husbands native country.

I'm looking to play in the fantasy medieval older times where the dynamics are much more stereotypical, where the duties are pre-decided for a man and a woman. Your character, the 18-year old princess will have a petite body (other details could be discussed). For aiding her nation, she is soon to wed off to another prestigious powerful kingdom. It will be a new world for her, new cultures and and new language too which he hardly knows, with no knowns or friends nearby.

There will be a darker twist too, I think the prince can be a bit of a sadistic nature who is just waiting for the king to die to take the throne. And maybe marriage is only of the condition to become worthy of the crown. The prince would be strong and along with having so much responsibilityz there would be a lot of frustrations and anger to take out on a petite 18 year old body.

We can build the world and explore around how she has to satisfy her husband, carry on her daily duties as a woman, while she also explore the new land, and make friend, along with my character scheming and gradually becoming the king of the nation, building a family, having kids and so much more.
