Basically you have a partner that loves you a lot and you love him too. He can be a boyfriend if you are in college, he can be fiance or even husband depending on your age. The thing is, for work or studies for couple of years nearly he has to go away or you have gone away to different city if not country.

He plays games online and has a friend, someone around same age or slightly different that we can decide and is really on great terms with him. This frien turns out to be in the place where you are at. He loves you a lot that he can feel your loneliness and so he asks him to meet you and you to meet him. He knows you may need someone, so it better be someone he knows well who won't harm you, and he will turn a blind eye even if things happen between you two because he knows the friend won't destroy his relationship and you love him too, just a safety net from his side.

So, not exactly a cuck scene but yes, it's with his permission, he won't outright say everything but you can read between the lines and he talks to this friend of his. So anything and everything is allowed, but at the end of the day nothing can come inbetween your relationship with him, so not exactly cheating or destroying anyone's life or hurting feelings. This gives you a guy to trust and relax, explore with.
