Post Body

  1. the emissions still exist. they're just happening at a power plant and there are very inefficient because you're losing power due to transmission losses

  2. there isn't enough lithium in the world to electrify just cars in America. forget about all the vehicles of other categories and around the world

  3. processing waste lithium is even more toxic than fumes from exhausts.

  4. you could say this is 1. (b): a lot of people like to bring up renewable energy. the fact is, renewable sources(solar and wind) are not viable for 95% of the planet's cities. that includes most if not all industrial behemoths including NYC, Shanghai and Chennai.

  5. Russia is the biggest source of a lot of the critical materials like neon. with those resourcing going away because of politics, say goodbye to the green revolution even in rich countries like America.

All opinions welcome. just try to keep the discussion limited to these points instead of typing out empty platitudes.
