Anyone know what the plans are around 46th and Keystone with the lane modifications?
Just got back into town after 2 weeks away and they temporarily had northbound reduced to a single lane while doing work on lane modifications.
It APPEARS that it is being reduced to just two lanes so that left turns in both directions can be protected and offset (and I am sure reduce the people turning out of the center lanes.) But it seems the change creates an artificial bottleneck from 3 to 2 lanes with no warning and then right up to three.
I am all for road diets and traffic calming and offset lefts, but take a lane entirely vs bottlenecking.
Just curious if anyone knows where to find the plans before I contact the city for “feedback” or permanently change my grocery store/gym/pharmacy to avoid that passage forever.
