Hello, I’m a longtime Indy resident. Been a Christian all of my life but since 2016 I’ve had a real bad issue getting into church. All the churches I’ve been too are staunchly conservative and Trump supporting. I’m a progressive Christian (like Jesus was) and want to find a congregation that is accepting of LGBTQ people and minorities and doesn’t play towards any political base. Worshipping Christ shouldn’t be about politics and Christ loves everyone unconditionally. I’m on the south side close to Garfield park and would prefer to stay on the south side if possible. Downtown is okay too. Can anyone offer me any recommendations? Denomination isn’t super important at this point, just want to find a church that truly and actually accepts everyone. Thanks!
