I'm not opposed to that. I believe legalizing and regulating a lot of drugs would decrease deaths.
Edit: It's almost like I can care about more than one thing. This isn't a what aboutism topic tho.
Oh I know drugs kill people, directly and indirectly. Wtf do they use to kill other people? I would assume typically fists but it's not uncommon to escalate to guns. And if we're talking about suicide. What is the leading cause? Guns.
If guns are so safe why can't you take it anywhere? Why can't you take it to the NRA meeting? School? Those people with their feelings definitely dictate where you and your little buddy go. Also those are the people ([NRA]you as a gun owner most likely support) that don't even trust you to not shoot them at their own convention. If guns are so safe why weren't there any?
Most drugs don't make you go out and kill people. I'm not sure any have that intended effect at least. There are crazy who do tho. I wouldn't be surprised if their weapon of choice is a gun...
You're right, one of the NRA goals is gun safety. Apparently the safest gun is no gun.
Also since you like analogies and comparisons so much. That would be like sky zone not having trampolines because the insurance is cheaper. I guess you could call yourself a trampoline park but without the trampolines you seem pretty disingenuous.
Nah, the best way is to never leave my basement. Second best way, light myself on fire. Never seen someone attack someone else already on fire.
I'm glad it's all figured out and innocent people aren't dying every day to gun violence. Better not change a thing.
Edit: why would that stop the person making guns look bad, to bring a gun? They would bring it anyway they don't care about rules.
I feel like it falls under the pursuit of happiness. Probably some of the life part too.
It made me feel unsafe, when a kid (probably like 18) pulled a gun on me.

Here's a really easy educational opportunity for you. Easy access to guns means easy access to violent crimes.
