Vogel stabs Indy?

I can’t remember where, but somewhere I heard that during the tank chase in The Last Crusade, Colonel Vogel was originally supposed to stab Indy. When Indy grabs his father before he falls off the tank, Vogel grabs Indy and starts punching him in the side. Apparently that’s the scene it was supposed to happen in, but was written out.

I can’t really spot a knife nor have I found anything online about it because searching “Vogel stabs Indy” into Google and YouTube shows nothing. Does anyone have any information on that?
