In my eyes, Ford is Indy. But at the same time I want more films, and Indy 5 looks like it's going to be the last of them. That however doesn't sit well with me.

I contemplated the idea of finding another actor that could fill Ford's shoes. My first thoughts were to hopefully find someone with a similar look to Harrison. Then to someone that embodies the role, if not Ford himself.

But the thing is. It isn't just Ford that makes Indy so great. We have Lucas to thank for our Professor of Archaeology, and Spielberg behind the camera. These are true visionaries with an artistic talent that's hard to match. (We'll see what happens with 5)

Let's say we reboot. We aren't just replacing Harrison. We're replacing the Trinity. And while replacing any one of them, may work. I just don't know if the magic would still be there if all three were gone.
