I was dating an Indian girl awhile back, lots of vegetarian foods which a lot of which I was on the fence about.

Then she brought these spicy pancakes, they were slightly green in colour and had some sort of leafy green herb or vegetable in them. They were absolutely delicious.

I can't remember what they are called but I would love to try learn how to make them. I understand this description is probably quite vague.

I think but can't confirm they were chickpea. They had a bit of a sponge like chew and weren't super fluffy. But they were delicious.
