Couple hours ago I found a kitten on crossing of an extremely busy road. She was in the middle of the road, she rushed to hide below my scooter when I was near her. A pedestrian pointed her to me and he picked her out from the road and gave me a carry bag to take her back home in.

I took her to the vet, who says she is around 2 months old. He said to not to try finding her mom. He said someone probably grabbed to pick her from her back which has paralysed her back legs. He gave her an injection and said we will have to wait to see if her legs recovers or not.

Here she is : https://imgur.com/a/SGyvnF5

I am a 21 year old guy who lives alone in an apartment and I have no clue how to raise a kitten. She has been pooping everywhere. She has been trying to run into dark corners and bites me if I try to go near her. She hasn't drunk or eaten anything yet. I have put hot water bottles near her for now.

Should I leave her in a cardboard box or let her roam around? Its very cold here and the tiles in my home might as well be ice floor. Any advice would be appreciated on how to handle her.

Her sibling was dead in the middle of the road. So, I don't think it's safe to put her near there, in case her mom is looking for her.

E : Sadly the kitty passed away today afternoon. She was very weak and asleep most of the time. I am happy at least the kitty got to spend her last couple days loved and cared for. I only have her bite marks left as memories.
