Brother wants peaceful passing. What can I do? My brother is bed ridden from past 2 and a half year bcs of medical condition of his brain. He's lost his ability to speak, eat & head movements. He can't even swollow his own saliva. Currently he's living with tracheostomy and feeding pipe in stomach.

We went to so many hospitals and tried so hard but last month doctor said there isn't anything more to be done. He has to spend rest of his life like this. He's quite young and his suffering is immense. He don't wanna live like this for rest of his life. We, as a family made peace with this and want his peaceful passing. We all want this living hell to end for him. But unfortunately in india, there is no death with dignity protocol. Passive euthanasia is allowed, but it's only for patient who are in vegetative state, my brother is fully conscious and suffering immense pain every second. We don't have funds to take him outside of India. What can be done? The final gift he want is peaceful passing.
