Most scholars agree that Indo Aryan civilisation is a result of a foreign group, originally from Central Asia, migrating to South Asia around 2000 BC and forming hybrid cultures and religions with the local Indo inhabitants. A few Indian scholars however disagree on the theory, suggesting that Indo Aryan civilisation developed purely on South Asian grounds. The migration theory is suggested using linguistic records, shared cultural practices across regions, and carbon dating as well as other scientific measures while such extensive evidence isn't provided for the indigenous theory. Hindu nationalism is very much centred towards the idea of homegrown culture and religion in contrast to the migration theory. What do you guys think on the matter?
