TL;DR : I may not have a permanent home. Where can i store all my stuff long term?
stuff:~ (certs, docs possessions, cherished old things or beloved broken things)

I'm leaving home (intending to). I am looking to explore opportunities across the country. I travel light, so i want to keep my stuff somewhere, where I can access it at will and where it'll be reliably safe.

I am looking for somplace for long term (atleast 2-3 years). So I will have atleast a faux 'home', for my past and possessions. Somewhere stable I can come back to.

A postal address and mail handling would be nice, added bonus, but not essential.

Here is what I have considered.

    • My parents home I find is not safe and stable and private for all of my things. I've had my stuff moved around, mishandled and I don't really have a 'room' I can call my own. My mail also has been opened.
    • I have thought of renting a place long term, like a PG, but that seems a bit expensive for this purposes. Since I will be likely paying rent also wherever I stay.
    • Do we have private storage rooms. ?
    • Bank locker imo would be too small. I will have atleast 2-3 bags and bit more of possessions over the years. Also, the waitlist is crazy.

What are my options?

My budget for this is about 2k per month perhaps. (Less is better 🤷‍♀️, provided it's reliable )
