Variable text - preventing repeats when using first/last paragraph style running headers?
Post Body

Hi folks. Glad there isn't a monthly limit on posts for this sub ..

I'm trying to get some variable text to do what I want. I have a category and recipe titles. I'd like each page to list the category and then the names of any recipes on that page. Both are assigned paragraph styles. There will only be max 2 recipes per page, so first / last by paragraph style would work. The only issue is that some pages will have only 1 recipe on them which then results in a duplicated entry. The below variable set up is : "<recipe\_title\_1> .. <recipe\_title\_2>". 'Title 1' is set for first instance of a paragraph style, 'title 2' is set up for the last.

There seems to have been a script (PowerHeader by In-tools) that would give current and last entry which would work for my needs. However it looks to be no longer supported and as this is another personal project I would rather keep investment low if possible.

Is the only option to use 2 different master pages? Not the end of the world, but ideally I'd like to be able to cut and paste text around and have the info correctly update.

TIA
