Copying and pasting from InDesign -> Other while retaining list formatting
Post Body

Hey folks do anyone know if there's a simple, fast way to be able to copy and paste a list structure from InDesign into another composer (in this case gmail)?

At my work I frequently reply to clients with a specific set of requirements that changes. I thought, hey, maybe I can use conditional text in ID to easily configure my requirements list. But unfortunately list structure isn't brought over.

My list structure is:

[copy]

  1. Level one lists items
    a) Level two list items

and is brought over as:

[copy]

Level one lists items
Level two list items

I figure the answer is likely no, but was hopping I found a quick solution to an ever-present work-related headache.

I did a Google search, but everything is (understandably) related to retaining formatting when pasting into ID.

Any other suggestions on how to handle this is appreciated as well.
