.. My niece asked me to explain the female/female intimacy dynamic. Which I Guess is normal, but why me? Not friends? Her mother (my sister)? I haven’t texted her back yet, she sent it to me this morning. Have any women been asked this by their relatives? What did you say to them?

Update: My niece came over last night. General chat for about 5 minutes. I initiated with her question. She seemed bubbly about it but at the same time flustered. I explained that intimacy with a girl is the same as intimacy with a boy, the kissing and general affection. She specifically asked about sex. Her exact words: “I want to know about sex with a girl.” I was a little flustered for a moment lol. My thoughts were more bonding than anything. That she would come to me with such personal questions! I was honored and humbled that she trusts me so deeply! I told her half the battle was already won since she already knows her anatomy and how to make herself feel good. In not so many words I explained to do what makes her feel good, only apply that knowledge onto a female partner. That she will feel and hear what things help her partner feel good. Include the intimacy of kissing and holding one another. Again, this was not a “sexual” conversation about sex but a bonding moment where we entrusted one another with intimate details of our private wants and needs. I explained, in no detail, what calms and pleasures me. She seemed receptive and genuinely curious. I won’t lie and say I wasn’t mildly excited as we had this slightly deeper conversation, but I had to maintain my composure and try to keep it light and informative for her. I do think my niece and I are much more comfortable speaking with each other about private topics now.
