So last year I switched jobs around the beginning of the month. I was told that my Health insurance will work for another month till my new employer's health insurance kicks in. He did not tell me anything about Pharmacy insurance. Or maybe I was told and I missed it.
Towards the end of that month I got myself a Covid booster shot. I tried logging into CVS pharmacy and the login did not work. I contacted the customer care and they were not able to find me in the system too. I used that pharmacy insurance very rarely. Turns out that my account had my name truncated because it was too long. Anyways, I got impatient of waiting and just went in and got the booster shot. I just assumed that my pharmaceutical insurance doesn't extend till the end of the month. I told medical shop person who administered the vaccine that I don't have an insurance. I am guessing he billed it to the state or something. Either way, I got my booster shot for free without providing any insurance details. Will I get into trouble because of this? I have an approved I140 and I do hope to become a US citizen in the future.
