Hey, I'm a 17-year-old h4 ( dad is h1b) Indian kid. I've lived here my whole life and will be off to college soon. We have been under the eb2 green card for the past 4 years.
I'll be going to college as an h4. But being under an h4 visa as a child won't allow me to work anywhere, but I really want to be able to do internships and such. I'll have to change to f1 when i'm 21 and then hope to find an employer willing to hire me as an H or L. Would my eb2 thing go away after I turn 21?
I wanna know if pursuing a masters after my bachelor's a good idea or not. Also is there anything I can do to get an EAD? I know i'm kinda young to be worrying about these things, but I want to try to find the best possible path for me.
Also whats the possibility of an act like America's Children Act or the Eagle's act passing?
