I have a girlfriend who is Cuban, she has been in the usa for about 2 years. She got paroled as far as i understand, she has a drivers license, work permit and a social security card. She just got a letter saying she was scheduled for deportation on Feb 2024 as her case was denied. I didn't get why.
We talked and we both feel that if she gets deported then it would be the end of our relationship. Neither of us wants that. She agreed to marry sooner than planned. Maybe next month or in Jan. We were planning on next summer, but there might not be a next summer now.
How many red flags would this cause with immigration by getting married so soon after she received the deportation letter?
