I am going back and listening to Mercury and this album has some of my absolute favorite Imagine Dragons songs of all time. Symphony, Waves, Bones, Sharks, Enemy, Giants, Higher Ground, all bangers. There’s more that I didn’t list but at that point I’d be naming almost the whole album. I love how many songs there are in the whole album which gives such a more broad spectrum of flow, rhythm, lyrics, etc.

I was listening to Loom and before I knew it I was already done and that was disappointing for me considering the length of time between albums and how many songs were in the previous album. Even 5 more songs would have been perfect but there is only 10 songs with one of those being a collab on one of the same songs in the album. This is what made me go back and listen to Mercury and made me appreciate just how good it actually is and whenever I see people make tier lists they typically put it at the bottom and that just blows my mind.
