The movie I am looking for is a World War 1 period drama that was produced somewhere between late 90's to early 00's. It is about a young lady who is sent to live with relatives during World War 1. The main plot is the young lady begins a romance with a young man but there is one scene where she is in her room and an older lady is brushing her hair and begins to cry. It Is discovered that the older lady is falling in love with the younger lady. I believe the two women do eventually hook up or the der lady hooks up with someone.

It's been a few years since I have seen this movie and will add more details if I remember them. I believe it was on Masterpiece Theater and later shown on A&E in the Classroom.
