I’m leaving Florida and have my eye on Illinois. My husband works remote and I’m a former high school teacher now stay at home mom. We can literally live anywhere as long as we can find homes in our budget.

My house here just went under contract and now we’re scrambling to find ourselves a new home. We’re soooo tired of living in Trump land.

So here’s where I’m having trouble. I found a home I absolutely love in Homer Glen. But suburbs like that tend to be very conservative and a lack diversity. School ratings are very high. What are

There’s a second home that I love in Berwyn. It seems more liberal but city like area. The middle and elementary schools have okay ratings but the high school doesn’t have a good rating at all so if anyone can tell me about what the deal is at J Sterling Morton West. I’d greatly appreciate it.
