Hello!
Just looking for some advice from anyone that has experience with applying for state positions or with the specific position in the title.
If you've applied for this position or any state job, how long did it take for you to hear back from them?
Has anyone been hired out of state?
Anyone familiar with the "Upward Mobility" bit that is included in these HSC postings?
Edit: Also if anyone works in this role, please share how it's going/if you like it!
I'm moving back to IL after living in MO for the last nine years. I have a BA in Psych (minor in Sociology), have prior experience as a mental health caseworker, and currently am a state employee in MO working for the juvenile court. I feel like I have fairly good qualifications but I'm just worried it's not going to be good enough for that role. I applied for this same position in Springfield, Champaign, and Decatur. My lease in MO is up in June and I'm willing to end it early if they offer me the job but I'm also worried they just won't contact me with me not being in IL already or it's going to take so long I'm going to just have to pick somewhere to move while still waiting.
ANY tips/advice/reassurances would be great. Thanks in advance. <3
