ARKELSTORP and Alex drawers.

I have the ARKELSTORP desk that I stained and really like for the most part. I would love to be able to remove the drawers and legs on one side and use the Alex drawers as the legs. Has anyone done this or seen it done? I don't want to test apart my desk before I know it can be done or what things I would need to join the two.
