Kallax side panels?

Are the kallax side panels made from hollow core or some form of solid timber?
I want to fit a 4x1 Kallax between some Pax units and I have exactly 1460mm, and the Kallax unit is 1480mm. So I have to shave 10mm off each side somehow.
Edit: just saw this in my post history. It's definitely hollow core.
