I LOVED House of Hollow and The Invocations by Krystal Sutherland and I want more, but she hasn't written it yet. Things I liked about it: woman-centric/feminist slant, magic/dark magic, coming of age/young adults discovering powers, takes place basically in the real world or a very similar world to ours in essentially modern times.
