IFTTT to WordPress - cannot connect to service

I'm trying to use the "Publish your new videos as WordPress posts" applet. I've connected it in the past but then it got disconnected. Now when I try to connect it I just continually get the message "Could Not Connect to Service".
I've tried issuing new admin users, I've used application specific passwords etc., the only feedback I keep getting is "Cannot connect to service". Can anyone explain why this might be happening?
