Question for KATO owners

Have you guys had any problems with the steel nozzles? It always happens to me that a nozzle of the pair starts to sound lower (maybe about -35db and in the most extreme case about -80db) and it's really annoying because I've already had to buy 3 replacements. I already ruled out that it was a moisture or dirt problem and it only happens with the steel ones and not the brass ones, does anyone know why this happens and how can I fix it?
