I wouldn't call this a review. More of impressions regarding this.
First off, the packaging is some of the prettiest I've seen in an IEM. The box is just plain beautiful and has nice color reflections and shine to it. The acrylic stand that comes with it is really nice too!
The IEMs itself are so beautiful. Probably the prettiest looking true wireless I've ever used. The case is kinda big BUT very pretty. Putting the pseudo-leather case that comes with the IEMs make it look like a ring box for proposing to someone.
The microphones are pretty okay! My girlfriend can hear me a lot better than the microphones on the Moondrop Moca and Golden Ages.
The Robin voice prompts are really cute. The voice lines that notify you if it's on noise canceling or transparency is really nicely written (i.e for noise canceling it's "let's quite it down now")
Anyways, the most important thing I've bought this for is the sound.
It slaps. It slaps for a hundred dollars and it slaps for it especially being a true wireless. The sound is incredibly detailed. Probably the most detailed true wireless I've ever used. It's very clear, the instruments are seperated pretty well, and the sound is rich.
Take note though, we all have personal opinions and some IEMs are better tuned for certain people's ears. So take my opinion with a grain of salt
The sound quality of this gets somewhat close to my Truthear Nova. The clarity is there but the separation and details are more there but I can't compare anyways because the Nova is 50 dollars more, hooked up to an amplifier, and is wired.
The IEMs really stay in my ears thanks to the free Spring Tips. I shook my head really hard for a few seconds and it didn't fall out my ears.
The cons with the Robin is kinda like my Moca. Doesn't remember my Monitor EQ when I throw em in my ears. I have to open the Link app for it enable my Monitor EQ.
Overall, they're great. Just don't use them for the gym or anything. They have no water resistance.
For true wireless standards, probably the best wireless I've tried especially at this price point.
Overall though, I'd give the sound quality an 8.5/10. That's high marks for true wireless for me haha. Take my opinion with a grain of salt still.
Anyways, thanks for listening to my IEM TED talk. Have a nice day.
