Welcome to the Destination Imagination subreddit! For those of you familiar with Reddit, feel free to skip to the next paragraph. For anyone wondering what this is, I'll try to explain. A subreddit is a gathering place for any like-minded community to collect posts about a particular topic, in this case, DI. You can submit videos of your performances, ask about fundraising for Globals, or share a useful resource you've found. Anything goes, as long as it's DI related & follows the rules of this subreddit.
This page was created years ago but abandoned, so I've taken it on to revive it. One of the largest resources I'm currently working on is the DI Wiki. It's a work in progress, but already has tons of useful information such as volunteer resources, Globals dorm configurations, pin trading guides, & more! My goal for this community is to provide an open space for the discussion of Destination Imagination among participants, volunteers, parents, & alumni from all around the world. DI is sorely lacking an area for this kind of participation, it can grow into a great resource with your help.
"Your help"? Yes, you! That's what's great about Reddit. The communities are entirely self-created, relying on the individual subscribers to create content. The more engaged people we have, the more help this subreddit will be for everyone.
So, all that being said, here's what I need from you. If you don't already have a reddit account, create one now by clicking this link. It needs absolutely no information about you other than your email, to ensure you're a real person & not a bot. Once you've done that, submit whatever you think would be beneficial to our DI community here. It's up to you to decide what kind of content this page will contain. What would especially be helpful right now is any ideas for the DI Wiki. I'm only one person & there is a ton of information out there to digest.
Thanks for reading, u/Uhfolks.
