Updated 8hr collecting not working?

So I was super happy with the most recent update, where the ad videos and generators now work up to 8 hours. So much better than just the usual 4 hours. However.. Every time I open up the game, the menu where it shows you how many supplies you've gotten and asks if you wanna double it? Well, at the top, it says how many hours / how many hours were spent collecting. My game STILL says it's 4/4 hours. Did it actually update, or is my game bugged out? Judging by the materials I'm getting, I don't think it's actually working past the 4 hour mark.
