Perhaps a clear report/spam queue option for moderators?
Post Body

As per this discussion it may be nice if moderators of large subreddits had the opportunity to start their queues out fresh. If they have months or years of backlogged reports, there seems to be little incentive to start now to clear it out. So why not implement a button that allows them to approve all reported links and comments and remove everything from the spam filter. This more-or-less reflects the status quo anyways.

Perhaps, in the interest of "what's active" it only deletes everything... older than a day instead of completely everything, if it's objectionable to people to ignore what are "present" items in the queue.
