Post Body

Really why did you implement it in this way at all?

When I click on an image in a post, the link is a .jpg but it opens a html page with the image screen-fitted into it. So far so Ok, it's just a viewer.

BUT when I now right click to open the image in new tab (for instance, to see it in full screen??) it AGAIN redirects me to the same html page with the border around the image. Even copying the link direct from the source will again open the image in the same viewer with its border. Why??

I am sure, I am not the only one who's annoyed by this.

Some reddits post big images that are greater than the screen. Such would be great to have on fullscreen. Clicking on the image shows it in full size but now you only see a part of the image. It's really inconvenient. Also downloading an image forces a webp, even if the original was a png or a jpg. Why?

On top of that, sometimes clicking the image preview it expands the post and shows the larger picture (not full screen, just larger), but other times you click the preview and it opens a new tab. I don't understand why it's so inconsistent, or doesn't just have clear icons that tell what will happen?
