Hear me out....instead of dumping gatorade or water on the winning coach why don't we have a 5 gallon cooler at the gates (or concession stands, bathrooms, etc) and people who enter can donate however much. The winning team decides which charity the donations are given to.
Stadiums hold 10's of thousands of people. Not everyone will donate. Not every stadium will sell out. But gosh dang, every weekend being able to donate thousands of dollars!? To a cause that means something to the players/community!?
(I'm mainly talking about college sports but also professional sports) (and maybe it's a month out the season instead of every game but yall get what I'm saying....Hopefully)
