Hey all, I'm a working adult that is learning figure skating and would love to practice more but my options for public skating are basically weekends and Friday nights. There happens to be a rink 10 min from my work that does freestyle sessions at 6am twice a week and I'd love to be able to start some of my work days practicing. To use the sessions you need a club membership but for a maximum of 2 sessions a week they're asking $1500 a year. $1800 to use more than 2 sessions a week. This seems high to me but I don't know if that's a normal price. There are no lessons included and the only other perks are LTS USA membership and ability to compete in a yearly event. Is this normal for a figure skating club?
