Post Body

I attended the community meeting yesterday. Stoke was definitely high - sounds like Black is going to get a much needed capital injection, with massive snowmaking improvements/expansion as the headliner. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Yea, I'm not sure how I feel about a techbro owning the operations there. But he was pretty emphatic about not wanting to own a mountain, and genuinely wanting to turn it back over to the community. Guess we'll see.

I don't know the mountain, and it was pretty vague, but they're planning on having snowmaking. Capability on both sides of the mountain (?), and top to bottom. Not sure what that means entirely, but judging by the reaction in the room, that's a huge improvement over what they currently have.

Also getting a new winch cat, so grooming and snow maintenance is going to be a lot better. Should help the snowpack last longer.
