What's the furthest you're willing to drive for a solo day trip?
Post Body

If the snow is good/driving into fresh snow I really don't really mind long solo drives. Longest solo I've done so far this season was 4 hours up/4 hours back from Boston to Sugarloaf in early December. It was the morning after 8" of fresh snow and was so worth it. The worst part was getting back in the car and seeing 4 hours on the GPS back home LOL.

I have a free day this weekend/Indy Pass and I'm trying to decide what I want to hit. I did two days at Jay already (but have a third day due to the power outage in January) however I've never been to Bolton Valley but heard its fun.

Comments

I day tripped Jay from north jersey a few times before I was able to move north. 14 hour round trip, no regrets.

Usually I made a weekend out of it, but it's nice not driving 700 miles every week for half a year.

To be fair, I really like driving, and I fucking love skiing. And it was a way to get some alone time.

I used to drive 4 criminals (snowboarders) and myself 2.5 hrs each way to Plattekill every weekend. Totally understand what you mean about the logistics.

I hear that. I dislike the majority of ppl, so it's not super surprising to my friends anymore.
