Xifaxan starting working then stopped

I was taking xifaxan for IBS d for two weeks and it was working really well. However, towards the end of the two weeks, all my symptoms came back. I tried staying on it for another week after my first course ended, but it didn’t help.
Has anyone else experienced this?
