I was diagnosed with Gut Disbeiosis last January, and they told me it can be cured, and briefly talked about the possibility of fecal transplants. In the meantime, she mentioned Probiotics like Fc-cidal, and I went crazy with Probiotics by using that plus fiber gummies, Probiotic gummies, yogurt, kombucha, and a prebiotic soda every day with lunch. I have flare ups about once a month, and it is usually when I ate something I'm not supposed to, but sometimes it just happens. I've been on a low FODMAP diet for 2 years now.
Over the weekend, I ate 2 giant cheeseboards, with onion crackers, everything bagel seasoning, baked potato soup with bacon and onion, pizza, and while I haven't tried to eat ice cream or drink a full glass of milk, my stomach didn't react at ALL. I did drink one kombucha over the weekend, but that was it not even my Probiotics since I was spontaneously out of town. Normally I get at least a little bloated or feel tingling in my upper left abdomen, but it was as if I hadn't eaten anything with the exception of feeling not hungry.
Did I cure my ibs or have I been lucky? Has anyone else experienced just random bouts of NO symptoms at all and had it come back?
