Apprenticeship life in general
Post Body

Whats up guys. Is there anyone here that is San Diego or SoCal in general? I’m getting a bit older (27) and I’m really trying to get into a better career spot than currently I’m a mechanic making a decent 28 and hour but I need more now that I have a kid. I tried the sprinkler fitting apprenticeship in San Diego but I just couldn’t get into the groove of the work. I know almost all construction trades will have those “obnoxious” or just “angry” foreman but it was hardcore anger in the sprinkler trade and I choose to go back to mechanic life. I made some friends who are “Sparkys” and they were always having a good time and told me to apply for them. But I wanted to hear some feedback from others in the trade and lastly for someone with no electrical experience can I even consider the possibility of getting accepted?
