Thank you to everybody who participated in the last two week's challenges.

This week's challenge is to name cities in alphabetical order based on these three challenges.

General rules:

· The cities must be added in alphabetical order, all A cities first, then B, then C etc

· If you forget any city, you cannot go back.

· If you don't know all the cities with a particular letter, you can still add as many as you know and move on to the next one.

· All rounds will be played on the same map.

· Diacritics and other formats of English letters are accepted and considered as being that respective letter. (e.g. Á; Ặ; Ǻ etc. are considered A)

· Every city format is accepted as long as one meets the above rules.

Challenge 1: Name the exact number of cities listed next to each letter

· You will start with A and add 26 cities beginning with A; then you move to B, C, D etc

· There are a maximum of 351 cities for this first round.

· To move to the second challenge, you must have 351 cities from this round.

Challenge 2: Name the exact number of cities listed next to each letter

· You will start with A and add one city beginning with A; then you move to B, C, D etc

· There are a maximum of 351 cities for this first round.

· To move to the second challenge, you must have 351 cities from this round and 702 total.

Challenge 3 (Bonus Round): Name the exact number of cities listed next to each letter

· You will start with A and add eight cities beginning with A; then you move to B, C, D etc

· There are a maximum of 351 cities for this first round.

This week's medal criteria are:

· Gold: 702 cities

· Silver: 500 cities

· Bronze: 351 cities

Special flair 1: This week's first special flair will be awarded to the person with the highest total population. Please specify in the comment how the population.

Special flair 2: This week's second special flair will be awarded to each person who reaches the maximum number of cities: 1,053

​

Competition Rules:

· You must play from memory (no Google or 'every country/state' option).

· Any format of the city name is accepted as long as one of the formats matches the above criteria.

· I would also advise against guessing cities.

Duration:

I will always post the challenges Tuesday evenings at London time. You have one week to submit your results. I will still consider submissions from Wednesday, but you will not be considered for the special flair and IBTM.
