Hi! I am an avid Spanish language learner, and frequently make use of the Italki community to get my writing assignments assessed by professional teachers on the platform so that I can improve my skills. Additionally, since I find myself preparing for a Spanish language exam next month, and since I want to keep things interesting, I tend to base my writing assignments on real world topics of global significance, for instance I wrote a letter few weeks ago about the weak abortion laws in place in the state of Texas in the United States, and my most recent work was based on the amount of cyberbullying, suicides and racism that is present in Japan and South Korea, as part of which I had referenced the K-Pop idols in both countries that had been facing severe public backlash for the same. However, my most recent post ended up being flagged by the Italki Community supervisors on account of "having violated Community guidelines", and as a result I have been banned from the Community for 24 hours as well. Could someone tell me how it is that I may have gone wrong with the post in question, seeing as how I was very careful to ensure that the post was in good taste? Would it be possible to get some sort of an explanation from the Italki team if I wrote to them in relation to the same? I just want to make sure that I don't make such mistakes in the future, especially since the Italki team seemingly just bans posts, and users consequently, without stating so much of a reason, and I am highly interested in being able to continue my Spanish learning journey using the Italki community. Any advice will be highly appreciated!
