Hello everybody, I don't know if it's ok to ask this type of stuff here, so just tell me if it's not.

I started sim racing (rFactor 1 & Assetto Corsa) like a week ago that I got a steering wheel. I didn't thought it was going to be easier but that I was going to be better because I like cars, motorsports and all that; but I was totally wrong. Basically I suck, I mean, I got stuff like heel & toe and not crashing in every corner pretty fast, but I'm slow as hell (10-15 seconds slower than hotlaps on youtube). But right now I'm ok with that, I just think I need to practice. But my goal of getting into simracing is playing iracing. But the question is, when is it worth it to join? because I don't want to waste the new account promos and not enjoy it (and by that I dont mean winning or even getting good places) or ruin other players experiences.
