As a newbie I just found out that I can change brake bias in the fixed GT4 series and this has completely changed my experience

For context, I'm using the AMG. Coming from ACC and GT7 I always heard about how reliant on trailbraking you must be in iRacing and how you shouldn't abuse abs too much. Well, trailbraking just wasn't clicking for me here. Or rather, I was trailbraking but the car still felt extremely understeery, messing around in the black box I noticed that I can actually change brake bias (can't change TC in the AMG so I figured I can't change brake bias either but didn't actually try lol) and the car suddenly turns, now I'm half a second quicker.

If there's another newbie in here who's doing the GT4 series: mess around with your brake bias until the car turns and you don't have to fight with the rear on entry
