Dropped new phone with clear case
Post Body

Recently dropped my iPhone 15pro, well twice ….but I had a case on it …however, the clear case did nothing and the first drop resulted in pink and green vertical lines down the left side of the case …there were on two lines that sometimes turned into one but now there are 4 bright green lines with 3 pinks on the right side of the greens and 3 other pinks that are a bit more faded on the left side of the greens..I figured I might have a “case”, no pun intended, for the vertical lines since the case did protect the phone from any visible physical damage..but the second drop resulted in the back of my phone to crack and there are a lot of cracks on the back..I thought these phones were titanium housed, completely titanium houses but from the looks of mine, there must be a thin layer of glass over the titanium bc I’m familiar with titanium…I collect knives and titanium is used on tons of knives, these days..titanium is definitely proned to scratches and blemishes but I’ve never seen titanium crack like glass or even remotely look like the back side of my 15pro…I say all this in hopes that someone can give me advice for talking to Apple since it is still under the 1 year factory warranty..and I have no Apple care whatsoever…Anyone have luck getting a new phone or at least a break on repairs during the first year warranty ? Devastated!
