Is it still worth it to Get an iPhone 11 in 2022?

I'm planning to switch to Apple from Xiaomi (Android) and I was thinking if is it still worth it to get the 11 this 2022. Should I get it, or wait for iPhone 12/12 Mini to get cheaper instead once the 14 series gets released this year. I've heard of great reviews about iPhone 11's camera and performance, yet I'm scared since Apple is rumored to "slow down" older devices. Still, I'm really considering getting an 11.
