Looking for a good shockproof case for my iPhone 11!
Post Body

Hey there!
I 've been owning an iPhone 11 for a while now and am currently using a Rhinoshield Mod NX case. It's a nice looking case and I do think it offers proper protection, especially when it comes to external damage, but I do find that it's not very "shock proof" if you know what I mean, because it's all pretty hard materials. There's a few cracks in the back of the case now from hitting the floor every now and then and this week I actually dropped my phone on a pretty hard surface and it shut down for a second. That's when I became anxious and thought "ok I might need a case that can handle even more drops"...
I've been googling for days now and just can't seem to decide which one will be the best option for me. Do you guys have any opinions/recommendations for good shockproof cases for iPhone 11 that isn't too ugly? I'm using an edge to edge screenprotector as well btw, as I'm pretty happy with those...

Hi u/karlioness! Sorry to hear about the phone drop, there can be many factors that may have caused your phone to do a reset. It can be based on the height, speed, and also surface of where your phone was dropped.

Our cases are made with a fusion of soft and hard compounds, which is why it is tough and flexible at the same time. I personally don't think there are any phone cases out there that are "shockproof" because the case itself is meant to absorb shock from drops and impacts (think of the case as a shield, if you are hit with something, you will still feel the leftover impact).

Based on what I can find out, the leftover shockwave may have been transferred to your iPhone 11 during the drop and caused the connections to come loose within the phone. In most cases, connections to the phone's LCD and battery.

Once again, I do apologize for the experience you have had and have sent you a dm to talk about this if you would like!
