A few days ago, my iPhone 11 stopped recognizing the charging cable when being on. It was happening once in a while, but since yesterday it stopped recognizing the charging cable at all (while on). I was getting the: Unlock the iPhone to use USB accessory, but now I don’t even get that notification anymore.
I tried ruling out every possibility: I wasn’t on the latest IOS, so I updated it and it’s still not working. Cleaned the charging port. Tried another cable. Turning off optimized battery charging. Hard restarting the phone.
I also went out and tried a wireless charger and it WORKED, the phone was charging and recognizing it while still being on.
It’s only the charging through a port that doesn’t work with the phone on. What could it be ?? My battery health is at 75% and I know I need to replace it. Could it be this ? I don’t want to change the battery and then find out it still ain’t working.
